Hello, this is Belladonna, or Bella for short. I'm over the age of 18.

This is a little corner of the digital world where I rant about stories, writing, books, music, anime, manga, films, TV shows, video games, seiyuu and anything I'm interested in. I've been into danmei novels lately. My reviews can be found here: Danmei Novel Reviews Masterlist. I don't lock my entries except for private real life stuff.

I write Harry Potter fanfics. My favourite pairing is Draco/Harry. I've also written about other pairings, such as Albus/Gellert, Voldemort/Harry, Sirius/Harry, Sirius/James, James/Remus, Blaise/Draco, Lucius/Harry, Hermione/Bellatrix, James Sirius/Albus Severus etc. On rare occasions I dabble in other fandoms, mainly anime fandoms.

I like all things Gothic. My preferred mode of horror leans towards chilling, eerie, atmospheric and psychological. I'm partial to mystery, suspense, film noir and spy fiction. I like speculative fiction. I'm fond of fractured fairy tales, folklore and mythology. I like strange stories that straddle the line between dreams and reality.

My stories tend to be on the bittersweet and angsty side. I've also written some horror. Some of my stories can get quite dark; I usually put a warning either in the header on DW and LJ or in the tags on AO3. That said, I do write fluff and happier love stories. Smut is not my strong suite, though I indulge in small and R-rated doses at times. I don't always know which genres my stories belong to.

FYI the only places I post my fics to are Dreamwidth, Livejournal, AO3 and Fanfiction.net (I won't be posting any new fics to FFN from now, but I'll keep the old fics up there). If you see my fics anywhere else, they were reposted without my consent.
