Laurel Lynn Leake

I’m Laurel Lynn Leake! I’m a white, queer, and disabled artist trying to take care of myself even though it’s hard. I use she/they pronouns, was born 1987, and live on occupied Narragansett and Niantic land on Turtle Island ("RI, USA"). I make weird comics for other weird people with my partner Kimball Anderson as Counterintuitive Comics, and release most of it for free online. 

Lately we've been making an informational comic series called "WHY WE MASK" about surviving respiratory pandemics together - free to download, print, and distribute in zine form. We also create lots of odd, often poetic comics about (being) isolated people, which are sometimes autobio, sometimes fiction, sometimes sci fi/speculative fiction.
