What is LaunchBert?
LaunchBert speeds up directory submissions. The Chrome extension is the main tool: one-click form autofill from your product profile, a curated list of launch directories, and tracking as you submit. Badge Buddy is part of that same flow — one-click badge embeds on your page, without redeploying.
Are these links safe for my SEO?
Yes. These are real product listings on launch directories, submitted by you as the owner. That is a normal way to publish a product, not a bought link or a private link network. Google only acts on manipulative link schemes. A genuine directory listing is a public citation of your product, and it will not hurt your ranking. LaunchBert only includes free directories we have checked, and each listing is one you submit yourself.
How many accounts do I need to create myself?
One account on each directory you submit to. LaunchBert does not create those accounts for you. You sign up, then the Chrome extension fills the form. Some directories only offer Google sign-in, so a Google account is really helpful.
What does the Chrome extension do?
The Chrome extension fills the open directory form in one click from your product profile: name, website, tagline, descriptions, categories, tags, features, competitor alternatives, tech stack, platforms, pricing, promo codes, social links, a demo video, a first comment, your logo, and up to five screenshots. It also fills builder information — name, bio, email, and your X, LinkedIn, website, and GitHub links. LaunchBert stores only the image URLs, not the image files. It tracks which directories you have submitted and can add a required badge in one click. You can fully control it with hotkeys too: autofill, move between directories, open the next form, mark a submission done or skipped, and toggle the badge.
Why should I launch my product to launch directories?
Directory launches help people find your product through Google, ChatGPT, and niche communities. Each listing can bring referral traffic and backlinks that strengthen your domain authority over time.
What software products are allowed?
LaunchBert is for software products that are already live, publicly accessible, and have a website directories can link to. That includes SaaS, websites, browser extensions, mobile apps, developer tools, AI products, and similar digital tools. Waiting lists, beta or test versions, and products that are not yet available are not supported. Some categories are not allowed either, including illegal goods, adult content, unlicensed gambling, scams, malware, and similar offerings. See the full list in our Terms of Service.
How long does it take to increase visibility?
It takes some time to see your domain rating climb. Directory launches are not always approved or published immediately, and search engines need time to discover and crawl the new backlinks. Keep launching consistently — progress usually shows up gradually over weeks as listings go live and links get indexed.
Are all directories free to use?
Yes. LaunchBert only lists free launch directories that we have curated. There are no paid directory submissions in our list.
Does the public product page include a dofollow backlink?
On the free plan, the public product page links to your website with nofollow. Pro and Max link to your website with dofollow.
How does Badge Buddy work?
