Donald Trump the Killer Rabbit

It occurred to me that perhaps a good metaphor for Donald Trump is Monty Python's Killer Rabbit. Prior to the election the left wasn't afraid of Trump at all. What was he going to do to the Hillary jugernaut - nibble her bum?

Then he won the election. Then he put Gorsuch on the Supreme Court, then he passed a wildly popular tax cut and now he may be about to bring peace to Korea. Now the Democrats are all "Run away! Run away!"

They hope each new manufactured scandal will be their Holy Hand-grenade of Antioch. James Comey - nope. Stormy Daniels - nope. The Mueller investigation - maybe but then again that one is just as likely to explode in their hands.

And the great wizard who some call Tim? That's Dilbert creator Scott Adams in this metaphor. He's the only one who saw the real power of the killer rabbit Donald Trump.

Stephen Hawking has passed away. Despite the many physical issues he faced he never lost his sense of humor. That may be one of the most remarkable things about this remarkable man.

Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

So work pretty much ends for the week about 3: EST today. The USA plays Belgium at 4:00 and people will need an hour or so to get where they will watch the match then the 4th holiday is upon us. Yup - pretty much done for the week after 3:00... Mick Jagger calls the kettle black... I like the idea of making free throws worth 2 points but then subtracting 1 point for every missed free throw... Heh heh - how to shotgun a beer... Product idea - hangover cereal fortified with Advil and caffeine... The silent one in Penn and Teller legally changed his name from Raymond Joseph Teller to just Teller...

Flowerjack

Right or wrong a florist is not considered the most manliest of professions for a guy. I think I know how to change that. Simply change the name of the job.

When it comes to carpenters - you have framers and guys who do finish work. Both are carpenters and both jobs are considered equally manly. Likewise if you think of it trees are just giant plants and cutting down trees could be considered similar to what framing houses is to carpentry.

Having said all that - here's my idea; change the name of the job from florist to flowerjack.

So the other night I was in a college bar where they had a Karaoke DJ. I didn't sing because the wait was too long (not a fan of waiting for anything) but I did have a chance to look through the song book. Here's my top 5 for songs I would have sung.

2. Theme Song to The Love Boat (I'm a fun guy and this is a fun campy song)
