here's a dear writer/artist letter!
Jan. 8th, 2016 01:37 amDear Writer or Artist:
aaa wow, thank you for considering my request!!! I'm sure I'll love anything you create, and I'm super really excited. As some general guidelines of what I don't like:
General dislikes:
- DO NOT WANT: Fluff. Anything goes plot-wise and rating-wise, except for fluff and established relationships. What I really don't like is pointless fluff. It can be a happy fic, just not insipidly happy? And something should actually happen in it. I don't know if I'm making much sense. Basically, it needs to have more than just, '"I love you," said character A. "I love you too," said character B. And then they thought about how much they loved each other and also frenched.'
- Also, generally I don't like AU. For the most part I'm into the fandom because of the environment the canon universe provides. As much as I grow to love the characters, taking away the universe by putting them into AU generally doesn't do it for me.
- Also also, I generally don't like the main and popular pairings of a fandom, unless it's a very small fandom.
CAVEAT: Where it says / and &, for me, I am very, very, very flexible. A / pair can be non-romantic and/or non-sexual and I will still love it! For the most part, the reverse is also true. Where it's not, I've noted that in the prompt!
Also, I love surprises.
