I have filked Babylon is Fallen before, as the Dalek song Gallifrey is Fallen, but even as I worked on that it struck me that it had other possibilities. The line in the final verse "And our fellowship is o'er" could not but remind me of the Fellowship of the Ring. It's taken me a while to catch up, but at last I offer Barad-dúr is Fallen.
I've explained the basics of Sacred Harp before. Here's one rendition of the original song, 117 Babylon is Fallen. (117 refers to the page number in the 2025 edition of Sacred Harp.)
For the feast of
altariel.

CORMALLEN
Hail our quest, at last completed,
Hail the day that battles cease:
Mordor's forces are defeated
And the Fourth Age brings us peace!
From Belfalas to Rhovanion
See the eagles proudly soar!
Barad-dúr is fallen, is fallen, is fallen,
Barad-dúr is fallen to rise no more.
Elves and men all stand in wonder
As the Ring falls to its Doom;
Dwarf lords stamp the ground like thunder,
While the Ents exclaim "Hoom, hoom!"
Praise with greatest praise the halflings,
Harfoot, Fallohide, or Stoor!
Barad-dúr is fallen, is fallen, is fallen,
Barad-dúr is fallen to rise no more.
Blow the horn in Minas Anor,
Aragorn returns as king!
Gath'ring round Elendil's banner,
Joyful friends and comrades sing:
"We have vanquished Sauron's darkness,
And our fellowship is o'er!
Barad-dúr is fallen, is fallen, is fallen,
Barad-dúr is fallen to rise no more."
