Philadelphians really hate law enforcement, at least when it comes to their favored groups Why would the honest people of Philly want to help keep criminals on the streets?

Is it really any surprise that the City of Brotherly Love, the good people thereof who have thrice elected the George Soros-sponsored, criminal-loving and police-hating defense attorney Larry Krasner to be the chief criminal prosecutor just don’t like the laws being enforced?

The editors of The Philadelphia Inquirer believe that illegal immigrants should be above the law

The Editorial Board of The Philadelphia Inquirer have always been concerned with legality, at least as far as it concerns Donald Trump. They were late to the table to ‘question’ whether the city’s George Soros-sponsored, criminal-loving and police-hating District Attorney, Larry Krasner, should remain in office due to his legal problems. But now it seems that they support law-breakers:

Will Bunch believes that yes, some people should be above the law District Attorney Larry Krasner thinks the same way

We have previously noted The Philadelphia Inquirer’s far left columnist Will Bunch and his adamant support for the rule of law.

Mr Bunch even wrote that he did not “like” President Biden’s final flurry of pardons “at all,” though he claimed that “they were understandable” to protect critics of then-incoming President Trump. Clearly, Mr Bunch believed the Democrats mantra of “no one is above the law,” used when they were trying to throw Mr Trump in prison.

But now? It seems that he doesn’t like the enforcement of our laws even one little bit!

Hold them accountable! No one is above the law, our good friends on the left said. That should include those who break our immigration laws, and those who enable them.

We reported on Tuesday how many law enforcement agencies in Kentucky were cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and now we’re seeing some of the same in the Keystone State. The activists are, of course, thoroughly incensed:

“We don’t need our local police enforcing federal law. It is not their job and has proven time and again to harm public safety,” said Jasmine Rivera, executive director of the Pennsylvania Immigration Coalition. “ICE and billionaires profiting off federal contracts are making billions of dollars from kidnapping our people. They are terrorizing families and attacking our neighbors who are literally building our communities. We don’t need $240 billion of our tax dollars to go to ICE and [U.S. Customs and Border Protection]; we need that money to make education, healthcare, and housing affordable.”

It wasn’t that long ago that our good friends on the left were telling us that “no one is above the law,” during their efforts to put then-former President Donald Trump in jail. Now, returned to office, Mr Trump agrees with that statement, and is enforcing our immigration laws, and shazamm! the left are trying to say that illegal immigrants should be above the law! Kentucky is not a sanctuary state! But if candy Andy Beshear had his way, we probably would be.

While we continually see the so-called “sanctuary” cities and counties trying to frustrate federal enforcement of our immigration laws, at least parts of Kentucky are doing their jobs! And while the Lexington Herald-Leader’s editorial orientation is toward the left of the political spectrum, reporter Beth Musgrave’s article is politically neutral.

Sometimes you just have to be an [insert slang term for the anus here] to do things right

My good friend and sometime blog pinch hitter William Teach noted the Associated Press story, “ICE arrests jumped to nearly 50,000 in July, the highest monthly total of Trump’s second term.” That’s great, but let’s do the math. 50,000 arrests, and hopefully deportations, times 12 equals just 600,000 per year. In the 30 months remaining in President Trump’s term, that works out to 1,500,000, which would make a small dent in the population of illegal immigrants in our country. If we assume that J D Vance becomes the next President, and he continues President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies for two full terms, 96 months, that has an additional 4,800,000 illegals arrested and hopefully deported, a nice number, but still just a fraction of the number of illegals already here.

The real solution is for real Americans to shun companies that employ illegal immigrants: cost them profits, at which point they’ll get rid of the illegals or go out of business, and the illegals will self deport. Yes, we need actual enforcement of our laws against hiring illegals, enforcement which sends the violators to prison. A few employers spending quality time Leavenworth will get the others to comply quickly. Continue reading →

I check Bluesky so you don’t have to! For our good friends on the left, "No one is above the law" apparently doesn't apply to illegal immigrants. Fortunately, President Trump is seeing to it that it does apply.

This site’s favorite whipping boy, The Philadelphia Inquirer’s far, far, far left columnist Will Bunch, who’s even crazier than Amanda Marcotte if such a thing is possible, has told us how important it is to enforce the law. We have previously noted how The Philadelphia Inquirer’s radical left columnist Will Bunch was adamant in his support for legality, railing against President Trump’s pardon of the January 6th Capitol kerfufflers, even though the vast majority of them had already been punished, already served their sentences, his indignation over the United States sinking drug trafficking boats rather than arresting the drug traffickers, and, as we reported in June of last year, his support for illegal immigrant and accused wife beater Kilmar Abrego Garcia, insisting that this illegal immigrant be given the full protection of the laws. He was all about the law when President Trump was eliminating drug trafficking boats coming from Venezuela, an action that Philadelphians should at least somewhat understand given the Hellhole that the Kensington neighborhood has become with strung out junkies sleeping on the sidewalks, in alleys and the Allegheny Avenue SEPTA station.

But, once again, Mr Bunch is complaining that we should not enforce the laws, not say that no one is above the law, when it comes to illegal immigration:

Yes, we disagree with Democrats, but I never thought that they could be this stupid

It has been said that presidential candidates like to pick vice presidential running mates who will not overshadow them, and such is frequently done by picking running mates who are dumber than them. Yes, I know: I have used that opening line before, and yes, I used it in reference to Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota, and his pardon of Tou Lue Vang, a previously convicted child rapist, to try to save him from being deported to Laos. Mr Vang had serially raped a Hmong girl between her ages of ten and twelve years, something he admitted to detectives:

When a detective interviewed Mr. Vang, he acknowledged having had sexual contact with the girl and called it a “minor thing,” according to a criminal complaint. Mr. Vang blamed cultural norms in Thailand, according to the complaint.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio wasn’t going to put up with that s(tuff), revoked Mr Vang’s legal status, and he was quickly shipped back to Laos.

You would think that even a vice presidential candidate selected because he was dumber than Kamala Harris Emhoff would figure, at that point, OK, he’s gone, there’s nothing more we can do about it. Remember: Mr Vang was a convicted child rapist! Continue reading →
