FNWF bags completed & a visit with mum

After being away for a few days I went to visit my mum. She has not had a good week but we still had some laughs.
It is a photo to be treasured.

Here is my set up tonight for FNWF.. I have my drink, my snacks, my movie playing and my sewing

I actually got all 10 bags completed with their handles on

Sorry about the blurry photo but here is one finished bag. I need these for next WEDNESDAY to give to my mums craft group

See what others got up to on FNWF

It's been a bad week

Hi everyone who reads my blog.
ITS BEEN A BAD WEEK.
I have a few posts ahead of time but please forgive me for not commenting on your posts.
My week has not been good and I am doing a little to prepare for our local quilt show in amongst family issues.
A little explanation.

The easier one is.... My daughter has seperated from her husband and we are moving her into her new place on Saturday. I'm sure her 2 boys will settle in well. School is back on Monday so they will be focused on that.
As for the next issue it is very hard.
My mum was admitted to hospital last Saturday and there have been endless tests to find out what is wrong. Unfortunately the tests are not good.
She has already had half a lung removed because of Cancer, been through radiation and suffered the loss of my son, her grandson.
Well, the tests now show, the Cancer has taken over her spine so she is suffering. She is having trouble breathing, is in pain, and cannot do very much.
I have not told her about my daughter because it will add to the stress.
Tomorrow there is a family meeting with the doctors to tell us what is going on, what to expect..
( I don't know really)..
So if I don't comment on a blog please excuse me. I am reading them but sometimes I might not respond.
I am still looking forward to the Heathcote quilt show this weekend and am trying to finish labels and hanging sleeves.

I am also looking forward to my daughter in laws 30 th next weekend, my grandsons 6 th birthday the weekend after and a fantastic weekend with new friends at a retreat in Ballan on the last weekend of October.
Hope all goes well and I can make these times.
I am thinking of all my blogging friends.
