I am so excited that we matched for this challenge.
In general, I like fluffy, happily-ever-after type fic. That's not to say that I don't enjoy angst or dark stories, but I vastly prefer happy endings and dislike gratuitous violence or non-canonical character deaths. If you're inspired to write a holiday themed fic, that is a-okay. I also enjoy kidfic, woke-up-married, road trips, secret relatives, and other various fluffy tropes. I like slow build "how they got together" stories. I'm not against smut, but I generally prefer some plot with my porn and I'm not into any hardcore kinks. In terms of AU, I like stuff that subverts canon (i.e. Character made this choice instead of that one) but I'm not into Character X & Y are mermaids fic.
You may have already noticed that I am a sucker for a good story about a strong female character. I abhor character bashing, especially against female characters. I like stories that pass the Bechdel Test.
I'm also a big fan of crossovers/fusions. If you're interested in writing one, you can see my other fandoms at my profile. One general idea would be fusing any of my requested fandoms with Flash Forward and exploring what the characters would have seen in their flash forward/how they would have reacted.
Shipping is generally fine and I lean towards het or femmeslash pairings but I also adore team-as-family dynamics, friendship, and other flavors of gen.
