Freshly Made Sketches #483

Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! This week's host is the amazing and talented Narelle!

I decided to use some new dies I recently got - Funky Foliage from TH/Sizzix. I cut my mushrooms and foliage out of some retired Stampin' Up colors that I love: Kraft (not Crumb Cake - but the original), Ruby Red, and Not Quite Navy (one of my all time fave colors). I used a sponge dauber to shade parts of the mushrooms.

I used a circle mask and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for my circle, and added some splatters with a retired Stampin' Up background stamp. My sentiment is from Don't Worry (Create A Smile), stamped in VersaFine Clair Nocturne (my fave black!), and cut with a flag banner die.

Flying High

Making clouds is so relaxing, especially when an adorable squirrel is flying high! A quick post today to share this sweet CAS design.

This cutie is from Create A Smile's SWEATER WEATHER. I colored him with Copic markers, and then added the cloud stencil, keeping the clouds from going on the squirrel. I then cut out the middle panel and popped it up with foam tape. I added some cloud dies on the sides for texture. Isn't he cute?

Freshly Made Sketches #410

It's Wednesday and time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Linda is our hostess this week with a sketch that is really open for creativity. I love what my teammates have made.

Today's card features a sentiment from Create A Smile Stamps called Don't Worry. It has the big, bold main sentiment, and then many, many smaller sentiments for ANY occasion. I love it! I paired it with some bold patterned paper that shows off the sentiment.
