We are deeply saddened by the loss of Nirmal "Nims" Purja and all those who lost their lives on Broad Peak. His courage, ambition and generosity reached far beyond the mountains. His legacy will remain. Our thoughts are with their families, friends and everyone affected by this tragedy.

For four years, Café Colombia was not simply a route. It was a #test of precision, #patience and the #ability to keep moving through doubt. Jorge Díaz-Rullo’s first ascent came down to four minutes in which every detail aligned: strength, rhythm, focus and the confidence built attempt after attempt. In our latest story, Jorge looks back on the mental work behind one of the most demanding projects of his #career, and on the value of staying with a challenge long enough to understand what it can teach you. The first steps in the #mountains do not require the most technical footwear. They require the right #balance. #Comfort, stability, lightness and a natural stride are the elements that matter most when approaching easy to moderate trails for the first time. Our latest #guide explores how to choose the first #hiking shoes, understand the difference between hiking and trekking, and find the right level of #support for the routes ahead. No shortcuts - not in the mountains, not in the market. That was the spirit our President Sandro Parisotto brought to the Sport Business Forum, one of Italy's leading gatherings on the business of sport, held at Palazzo Giacomelli in #Treviso, Trieste and Belluno. Alongside him, Cremonese Alessio, Vice President, Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti and Gianluca Pavanello, CEO, Macron / Vice President ASSOSPORT in a conversation moderated by journalist Alberto Bollis on the values and the bond between sport and apparel. The post-Covid outdoor surge has settled, and what remains is a market that asks harder questions: about #quality, #durability, and what a #brand truly stands for. For SCARPA, that's exactly the kind of terrain we were built for. We compete on the #trust of #people who rely on their gear when the conditions get serious, athletes, mountaineers, anyone who knows that in the mountains, every detail counts. Last winter Games brought ski mountaineering to the highest stage. SCARPA athletes were on the podium. But the real #legacy of a great event is measured in the communities it inspires, the young athletes it reaches, and the culture it leaves behind. The conversation didn't stop there. AI, sustainability through our LIFE Re-Shoes program, the power of #MadeinItaly driving export growth, the right faces to represent a brand, and so much more. Higher standards. Harder terrain. That's where we feel at #home. #NoPlaceTooFar

Have you ever seen team building like this? At SCARPA, we turn every event into something extraordinary! Last weekend, the office team of SCARPA Germany/Switzerland enjoyed an unforgettable team-building experience, scaling the Breithorn in Switzerland. It was a unique opportunity to strengthen bonds, experience the mountain spirit firsthand, and exchange insights with SCARPA athlete and mountain guide Caro North. Although spring has officially arrived with perfect weather, recent heavy snowfall had transformed the ascent, softening the path with pillowy silhouettes and breathtaking views. More than just a climb, it was an exercise in synchronicity at 4.164 meters: the team discovered that reaching great heights is only possible when moving as one, sharing the same pace and the same vision. Big Thanks to Caro and Maxime Queloz for guiding us safely and to Richard Lehner (mountain guide and owner of the BaseCamp Hotel & Apartments in Zermatt) and Emanuele Carbone for their warm hospitality. #NoPlaceTooFar

A moment of genuine exchange and meaningful dialogue with a group of alpinist who have transformed social #empowerment and cultural #pride into a universal #message of emancipation and #sustainability. Together with GORE-TEX® Brand®, at Teatro Arsenale in #Milan, we presented to our community a photographic exhibition and a documentary filmed directly in Bolivia about the “Cholitas Escaladoras”. Some of these extraordinary women attended the event, sharing with the audience their journey, the meaning of their #mission, the #values that guide them, and their deep #connection to the planet. This joint initiative places the mountain at the center as a symbol of courage, identity, and freedom, and represents a collaboration between SCARPA and GORE-TEX® Brand® in support of the #Cholitas as global ambassadors for both companies, promoting key values such as inclusion, sustainability, and respect for nature. We believe that every step toward #excellence stems from the ability to look inward with #authenticity and to listen closely to those walking by our side. That is why we chose to create a #PerformanceAppraisal journey tailored to our values, where individual growth directly fuels collective #progress. This #project began with strategic workshops to transform our ideals into measurable behaviors, progressively involving management teams and employees in training dedicated to the courage of #feedback culture and the transparency of open #dialogue. Thanks to the essential support of LYBRA, who guided us in defining this new #approach, we have transformed assessment into a moment of true #human empowerment. #NoPlaceTooFar
