From singing to her cows to adopting climate-smart practices, Mongolian dairy farmer Otgo Dashdorj knows what any experienced herder knows: calm cows produce more milk.  With support from FAO and the EBRD, and funding from the Government of Canada, dairy farmers like Otgo are using digital tools to adopt low-emission, climate-smart practices, such as high-quality feed and drought-resistant forage that can ease pressure on grazing lands. Since mid-2025, 1 700 farmers in the #GazaStrip received agricultural inputs & conditional cash from FAO Watch to learn how they are now able to produce enough fresh vegetables for over 120 000 people thanks to funds from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Belgium, the European Commission, Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, United Nations OCHA OPT (Palestine), & Pooled Funds.
