Magazines

These are the food-related magazine I read or have read.
  • AH: Albert Heijn's Allerhande. Freebie from the grocery store.
  • BH&G: Better Homes & Gardens. Had a subscription to this off and on over the years. Unfortunately they don't like expats.
  • C&V: Cuisine et Vins. Had a subscription to this for a few year. Some interesting recipes, but a bit pretentious and recipes prone to error (need to double-check on the site).
  • CI: Cook's Illustrated. Long-time subscriber.
  • CL: Cooking Light. Now defunct. Very long-time subscriber, from time in Houston.
  • Del: Delicious. Was a (Dutch) vegetarian magazine, got taken over by the Australian Delicious and was never the same.
  • EE: Elle Eten. Subscribed for a while in NL.
  • ET: Elle à Table. Subscribed for a year or two. Time has passed, of course, but prefer EE.
  • EW: EatingWell. Long time subscriber.
  • HC: The Herb Companion. Dead. A shame since this was a nice little magazine with some good recipes.
  • Jamie: Jamie Magazine. Subscribed for a couple of years. Way too expensive to keep on with it.
  • Régal: Régal. Recent subscription. Have dropped this.
  • SG: Saveurs Green. New. Not sure yet.
  • Slowly: Slowly Veggie!, a French vegetarian magazine. New subscription, lasted only a year or so. Has changed into SG.
  • Tip: Tip Culinair, a defunct Dutch cooking magazine that left no site behind.
  • VPG: Vie Pratique Gourmand. Subscribed for about ten years; dropped this for Régal.
  • VT: Vegetarian Times. Long-time subscriber. Dead.
