Celebrating our 2026 summer interns this National Intern Day. These talented young people are in their fourth week, working across many teams within our London, Luxembourg and Warsaw offices. With another four weeks to go before they head back to university or look to land a full-time, early careers role, ICG’s summer interns will continue to make positive impacts, forge meaningful connections and discover what a career at a global alternative asset manager can offer. Outside of their day-to-day work within host teams and the training they join as a cohort, our interns are spending a percentage of their time on a charitable giving project. This involves researching and pitching how the charity budgets of our employee-led networks could be best-spent. ICG’s employee networks include: ▪️ Elevate (aims to support colleagues from lower socio-economic backgrounds and/or those who are first-generation professionals) ▪️ Evolve (aims to achieve gender equity in our organisation and industry while ensuring that women feel they can prosper at ICG) ▪️ Family & Carers (aims to provide a forum for parents and carers to connect, share and support each other) ▪️ NextGen (aims to engage early career professionals and aims to encourage them to have a collective voice) ▪️ Thrive (aim to promote and facilitate a culture of health, wellness and inclusion to support all employees to ‘thrive’ at work) ▪️ Together (aims to encourage a culture of respect and equality for everyone regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity) ▪️ UNIFY (aims to promote an inclusive workspace that acknowledges and respects our diverse cultural heritage) Curious about starting your career at ICG? For ICG, part of the answer is disciplined organic growth: finding the right people and teams, building in areas where we have conviction, and staying focused on where we believe we can deliver for clients over time. ICG’s Nicholas Brooks returned to CNBC today, joining Steve Sedgwick and Karen Tso to discuss the outlook for the US economy following the recent appointment of Kevin Warsh as Chair of the Federal Reserve. Watch Squawk Box Europe - linked in the comments - to hear Nick’s views on: • What new Fed chairman Warsh’s recent testimony to the US Congress suggests about his approach to inflation and monetary policy - and the Fed’s likely next moves. • Whether the surge in AI-related investment points to a wider economic bubble. • Why understanding the Fed’s reaction function may matter more than formalised Fed forward guidance. • What the resumed disruption of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz means for energy prices and the global economy - and whether markets are underestimating the risks. An important milestone for ICG Life Sciences portfolio company Draig Therapeutics. Draig has closed an oversubscribed $65m Series B financing, a year after launching from stealth mode with $140m in Series A funding. Led by Deep Track Capital, the Series B round received participation from a host of notable investors, including Janus Henderson Investors, Marshall Wace, British Business Bank and Jefferson Life Sciences. The proceeds will support accelerated clinical development of Draig’s pipeline of highly specific AMPA and GABAₐ receptor modulators – including lead programme DT-101, an AMPA receptor potentiator currently in Phase 2 studies for major depressive disorder. ICG Life Sciences provided seed funding alongside SV Health Investors to establish and build out Draig, supporting its transition from academia to a commercially driven, clinical-stage biotech company. Dr Samantha B., Venture Partner at ICG Life Sciences and Board Director at Draig, commented: “Neuropsychiatric disorders remain one of the largest areas of unmet medical need globally, and Draig’s innovative approach to developing highly specific therapies has the potential to transform outcomes for patients and their families. Having supported the company since its earliest days, we are delighted to see this financing round attract such a high-quality investor syndicate, further validating the strength of its scientific approach. We look forward to continuing to partner with the team as they advance DT-101 and their broader pipeline through the next stage of development.” Read the full announcement via the comments. #LifeSciences #Healthcare #BioTech #ClinicalStage #PrivateCapital #PrivateMarkets #Alternatives Capital at risk.
