Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has acquired a 60% stake in skincare brand Dermatouch for INR 387.5 crore. The transaction marks Wipro Consumer Care’s entry into the digital-first skincare segment. The acquisition will add the brand to Wipro Consumer Care’s personal care portfolio. India and the US are entering a key phase in their economic partnership, with bilateral investment rising twelve-fold from USD 20 billion to USD 240 billion over the past two decades, US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor said at the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) National Convention 2026. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis called for the growing strategic alignment to translate into investments, technology partnerships, manufacturing and jobs. IACC National President Anup Acharya said the partnership had expanded beyond diplomacy and trade, with cooperation growing across defence, energy, education, technology and innovation.
