Why would a parent believe their child's relationship with math can actually change? Usually not because a brand tells them so. Usually because another parent has already seen it happen with their own child. That's the thinking behind Moms of Bhanzu, a series of conversations with mothers about their kids, math, and what real growth in this subject looks like once you take the fear out of it. Sameera Reddy and Neha Dhupia are the first two moms we've collaborated with on this, and the conversations were genuinely good ones, honest, funny in places, and grounded in what they've actually watched their own children go through. At the core of it is one idea we keep coming back to at Bhanzu, less memorising, less fear, a lot more curiosity and confidence. More from this series soon.

As parents, we’re constantly thinking about our children’s growth. But what about growth in math? That question became the starting point for something we’ve been building at Bhanzu over the last few months. Because the conversation around learning is changing. It’s no longer just “Is my child doing well in school?” It’s also: "Can they reason instead of memorise? Can they solve a problem they haven’t seen before? Can they become genuinely confident with numbers?" So instead of creating one conventional brand film, we built a content ecosystem around the questions parents actually have about their child’s math growth — from arithmetic fluency and conceptual understanding to reasoning, higher-order thinking and confidence. And we wanted those conversations to come from voices parents relate to: mothers speaking to other mothers. That became Moms for Bhanzu, with Sameera Reddy and Neha Dhupia as our first Math Moms. One thought from the work sums it up beautifully: “When growth is real, you can let the numbers do the talking.” Bhanzu. The Math Growth Formula. Recommended by Math Moms. This is only the first chapter. The ambition is to grow Moms for Bhanzu into an ongoing content property — more mothers, more perspectives, and more conversations around what meaningful growth in math really looks like. Sharing the first piece of work below. ❤️ #MathMoms #Bhanzu #EdTech #MathSkills #MathMagic
