In his keynote address at the CareEdge Group Annual Summit in Mumbai, Gautam Adani urged CareEdge to develop what he described as the world’s first comprehensive credit framework for “integrated platform infrastructure”. India’s clean energy ambitions depend not only on generating more renewable power, but also on building the infrastructure that can carry it where it is needed. Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL) has secured a Rs 4,700 crore transmission project that will facilitate the evacuation of renewable and storage power generated in Karnataka to major load centres in Maharashtra. The project will support the evacuation of up to 4,500 MW of renewable and storage power, support the region’s growing pumped storage ecosystem and strengthen the inter-regional transmission corridor between the Western and Southern grids.
