this is a bunch of open-source polyfills for Internet Explorer, more specifically versions 10 and 11, that I moved from the GitHub repo at github.com/dmitrijselyanin/iepolyfills, which also belongs to me. other than using C# for the boilerplate while the original boilerplate is in C++, shipping actual binaries and using Mercurial rather than Git for source control, this is the same project.

Features

  • modern web standards for Internet Explorer
  • Memory-safe
  • Does not make Internet Explorer any slower
  • Does not remove any of Internet Explorer's existing features, like ActiveX
  • works accross all IE shells provided that they do not block BHO loading and the underlying engine (the IE installed on your system) is new enough to run IEPolyFills

User Reviews

  • of course the boilerplate isn't done yet ( I promise I'll publish it next week) IEPolyFills does make modern websites less bad for IE, just as I intended.
