Humble Disciple is an online ministry led by Tin Tran, primarily active on Instagram and Facebook. If you haven’t already, I invite you to follow the ministry to stay connected. This website serves as an extension of that mission—dedicated to sharing biblical truth and calling believers back to the unchanging Word of God.
Purpose
My mission is to equip disciples of Yeshua (Jesus) with the truth, helping them break free from the deception of man-made traditions and misunderstandings that have shaped much of modern faith. Many believers have inherited doctrines that conflict with Scripture, often without realizing it. My goal is to guide those who are seeking deeper understanding back to the foundation of faith—Yehovah’s instructions (Torah) as they were originally intended.
I believe that true discipleship means not only believing in Yeshua but also walking as He walked (1 John 2:6), living in obedience to Yehovah’s commandments through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. By restoring a proper understanding of Scripture, my hope is to strengthen and equip the body of Messiah to walk in righteousness, holiness, and truth.
Core Values
These foundational beliefs shape the mission of Humble Disciple:
- Yeshua (Jesus) came to seek and save the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. Gentile believers are not separate from Israel but are grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel (Romans 11:17-19, Ephesians 2:12-13), becoming part of Yehovah’s covenant people.
- The entire, unchanging Word of God is for all believers and remains applicable today. Yehovah’s instructions (Torah) are not abolished but written on our hearts under the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:33, Matthew 5:17-19).
- We are called to teach all nations to observe and obey Yehovah’s Torah. Yeshua commanded His disciples to make followers of all nations, teaching them to obey all that He instructed (Matthew 28:19-20), which aligns with the Torah’s call to obedience.
- Salvation is by grace through faith in the Living Word, Yeshua. We do not earn salvation through works, but faith without obedience is dead (Ephesians 2:8-10, James 2:17). True faith is evidenced by a transformed life that produces good fruit.
- Yeshua perfectly upheld and taught the Torah, correcting the false teachings of the religious leaders who elevated man-made traditions (Talmud) above Yehovah’s commandments. He never opposed the Torah but affirmed it as the way of righteousness (Matthew 23:2-3, Mark 7:6-9).
- Our Messiah willingly gave His life for our sins, bringing redemption through His sacrifice. He is our Passover Lamb (1 Corinthians 5:7), making atonement once and for all. However, His sacrifice does not abolish obedience—it calls us to live righteously as redeemed people (Hebrews 10:26-27, Revelation 22:14).
- The Holy Spirit is given to empower us to walk in obedience. The Spirit leads us into all truth (John 16:13), convicts us of sin, and enables us to live according to Yehovah’s instructions (Ezekiel 36:26-27).
