Beating heart disease and stroke.
Heart and Stroke Foundation Students’ Association is an official affiliate of the Heart and Stroke Foundation at the University of Alberta. The Heart and Stroke Foundation aims to promote healthy living through education and to fund research. The two principal activities of our association are health promotion and fundraising. It is also in our interest to bring university students who are passionate about healthcare together, and to strengthen volunteerism and leadership capability.
What We Do
Events
The goal of the events division is to plan and organizes events that raise funds for Heart and Stroke Foundation and increase heart health awareness.
Education
This year the education division is continuing to deliver heart health presentations to schools while also launching some new research initiatives.
Advocacy
The goal of the advocacy division is to increase heart and stroke awareness on campus through various fun and educational events.
Marketing
The marketing division is in charge of all HSFSA marketing platforms. We aim to spread heart health awareness online and keep everyone up to date on HSFSA’s activities!
