An Aussie band we've featured in the past, The Paper Kites, has a new single from an about-to-be-released album.  The single, "Change of the Wind," is from their album "If You Go There, I Hope You Find It."  We think it's a nice, mellow introduction to the weekend.  Hope you enjoy.

Mid-Week Train Ride Song

Australian indie/folk band The Paper Kites appeared in our blog about three years ago, and since then have released two albums. Their latest album, released this past spring, has this lovely, wistful tune, "On The Train Ride Home." Enjoy.

Mid-Week Halcyon Song

Melbourne, Australia-based indie folk group The Paper Kites have what is described as an ethereal sound, with their lilting harmonies and use of acoustic instruments.  "Halcyon" is a song from their first extended play album "Woodland" from 2011.  Enjoy.
