What I write

I have been known to write fan fiction for Final Fantasy VII, Gundam Wing, Looney Tunes, Buckaroo Banzai, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Little Shop of Horrors, and Weiss Kreuz. What I write depends on my muse-driven inspiration and my ships come and go with the tides.

Currently

I am getting back into my epic Weiss Kreuz fics while contemplating an original work.

Reading Policy

I do not read any private journals from this account. If you want me to read your stuff, I suggest that you go over and add guiltyred, I will most likely add you in.


My Virtual House

I call this my virtual house, because that's what it's like, really: I set it up and put out refreshments, or in this case stories, for my guests to enjoy. I invite folks in to hang a while, encourage them to talk with each other and with me about the stories, silly shit, and life in general. I don't appreciate it when strangers crash the party and chew out my guests for some imagined slight, without even granting me the courtesy of letting me know there's been a disagreement.

Folks, if you don't like what you read, whether it's a pairing issue or some moral dilemma, be civil enough to either stop reading or enter into adult conversation to voice your point of view. Don't flame each other, and for crying out loud, don't flame me -- that's like dissing the host because someone brought your least favorite cookies to a party you weren't even invited to!

As the great Buckaroo Banzai once said, "Don't be mean. We don't have to be mean. 'Cause, remember, no matter where you go...there you are."

And here? My house. Bar's to the right, coffee station to the left, snacks are on the table. Leave your shoes at the door, and for cryin' out loud, be nice.


Fanon/Canon/Whut?

A note for those new readers who might not know me very well: I refuse to hold any pairings or canon or fanon as sacred. If someone asks me to try an experimental sort of fic, I'll give it my best shot, whether it's a popular situation or one that makes normal people run away in disgust. I like to push the borders, color outside the lines, and as for thinking outside the box...well, mine's got a cat in it anyway. Again: don't like? Don't read -- that's what the little back arrow is there for. Hate the pairing or the character interpretation? Sorry, but this is my house and I had a blast writing it anyway.


GENERIC DISCLAIMER:

My stories present people in all their diversity, and are notoriously gay-friendly. I don’t condemn my characters for choosing to use drugs, cigarettes, or alcohol. Some of my characters have fuzzy morals where age of consent is concerned. In some places, rape is a daily occurrence; loss of humanity comes when the characters become used to it.

(Funny how you could substitute “the people” for “my characters” and it would still make perfect sense…)

I do not pretend to write morality plays, nor do I flinch from true morality and spirituality, which sometimes crop up in the strangest places.

My stories are not intended to endorse any philosophy besides free will and karma.

If someone tells you not to read something, hold them in high suspicion. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is supposed to protect the arts – hold it accountable.
