The GTM agency for B2B go-to-market strategy and execution

A route to named buyers

GTM Quest is a GTM agency for US and UK B2B teams, based in London.

We define who you sell to and why they should choose you, then build the system that turns it into pipeline: LinkedIn, founder-led content, buying signals and outbound, running on a data layer you own.

We run it with you, or build it and hand it over. The data, the tooling and the playbooks stay yours.

For B2B SaaS, technology and services teams in the US, the UK and Europe.

What our GTM agency builds for you

Six things, in order.

The last one is the one people forget to ask for.

Most agency scopes cover the first five. The sixth is what separates a supplier from a build.

The long read on each is our go-to-market agency guide.

03 / The mechanism

Each channel does something the other three cannot.

Running them together means the fourth gets easier every time the first three do their job.

Retainer or handover four ways to work with us

This decides what you are actually buying.

A retainer keeps the capability with the supplier. A handover puts it inside your company.

Day 1

The motion starts

We agree the first accounts and start the conversations the same day, from your founder’s and team’s LinkedIn and warm introductions.

Week 1

The list, and the reason

Account definition, enrichment, and the one thing you will say that a competitor could not. Tested against the first replies.

Months 2 to 3

Scale, then handover or not

Cut what is not working, scale what is, then decide with you who runs it. A decision point, not a milestone.

What day one does not contain is revenue. Ebsta and Pavilion, 2023: deals close best at 31 to 60 days for small deals, 61 to 90 for medium, 150 to 180 for larger ones.

Working with the Quest team transformed how we approach outbound.

13 / The basics

What is a go-to-market strategy? in five questions

A go-to-market (GTM) strategy is a company’s plan for reaching its customers and winning them.

In B2B it answers five questions. What does GTM mean in business? Go-to-market: the plan and the machinery for taking a product to its buyers.

GTM engineering builds the data and automation behind a go-to-market motion.

22 / Consulting or agency

Advice, or a GTM agency that builds and runs it?

Go-to-market consulting is advice on who to sell to, how to position and which channels to use, usually delivered as a plan.

A GTM agency does that and then builds the system.

Go-to-market for B2B SaaS and startups after product-market fit

GTM team, motion and RevOps who runs it after us

A GTM team is everyone who turns the plan into revenue: marketing, sales, customer success and revenue operations.

The handoffs are where pipeline leaks, so every engagement ends with the definitions written down.

questions

Yes. We work with US B2B teams and with UK companies selling into the US. The system is the same; email follows CAN-SPAM, data follows state privacy laws such as the CCPA, and the working day is set to your time zone.

Yes, under CAN-SPAM's opt-out model. Each email must identify the sender, use an honest subject line, carry a postal address and a working unsubscribe, and opt-outs must be honored within 10 business days. The FTC can seek up to $53,088 for each email that breaks the rules.

It depends on scope, as in the UK: a strategy sprint costs less than a system build, which costs less than running several channels. We quote in US dollars or pounds, in writing, with fees, media, data and tools as separate lines.

A GTM (go-to-market) agency builds and runs the commercial engine that takes a B2B product to market: the ICP and positioning, then demand generation, account-based marketing, outbound and revenue operations, coordinated into one motion and measured on pipeline.

GTM agencies range from full-stack firms that do strategy, systems and channels, to specialists in ABM, demand generation, outbound, GTM engineering or RevOps. Pick by the gap you need filled.

It defines who you sell to and why they should choose you, builds the data and channels that reach them, runs the campaigns with your sales team, and measures pipeline and revenue. Many, including us, hand the system over when you are ready.

A plan for reaching and winning customers: who to sell to, why they should choose you, how they hear about you, how they buy and how you measure it.

Go-to-market: the plan and the machinery for taking a product to its buyers. In web analytics, GTM also stands for Google Tag Manager, which is unrelated.

A marketing agency usually runs channels and reports clicks and leads; a GTM agency coordinates marketing and sales into one motion and is measured on pipeline and revenue.

The best one is the one that fits your stage, motion and market. We are a London GTM agency that does strategy and hands-on build, then hands the system over. If you need a specialist in one channel, each of our service pages ends with firms we rate, and our directory lists more.

The person who builds the data and automation behind a go-to-market motion (enrichment, signals, routing and reporting), usually in tools like Clay.

A go-to-market strategy with owners, dates and numbers: which accounts in which order, which channels with which budget, and the measures that decide whether it works.

Yes, mostly companies with product-market fit whose revenue is not yet repeatable. Before fit, we start with customer discovery and founder-led selling, and build the system once buyers repeat.

Everyone who turns the plan into revenue (marketing, sales, customer success and revenue operations), and the way they hand work to each other.

Fractional GTM is senior go-to-market leadership for one or two days a week; GTM as a service means an external team runs the motion.

Our four-channel method (LinkedIn ads, founder-led content, signals and contextual outbound), running on a Postgres and Clay data layer, built with you and handed over.

The first conversations start on day one, the system is built around them over the first month, and we aim for pipeline forming in the second month; revenue follows your sales cycle. Content and brand compound over months; outbound and paid move faster.

Use an agency to design and prove the motion quickly, and in-house hires to run it once it works. Hiring a team before the motion is proven is the expensive mistake.

Clay is a data enrichment and workflow platform that combines many data sources with automation and AI research. GTM agencies use it to find and enrich accounts, detect buying signals and feed outreach. We pair it with our own Postgres database so the data stays yours.

Pipeline and revenue from target accounts, meetings held, the self-reported source of every booking, win rate and sales-cycle length, not impressions or lead counts.
