TinyFish raises $47 million in ICONIQ-led round.
The Challenge We Tackled Together
TinyFish had an impressive product already built—AI agents that intelligently automate web tasks for major companies—but they had no brand to match the tech. TinyFish operate in the cutting-edge world of the agentic web, where AI learns and executes complex tasks, like competitive price tracking and product research, but their visual identity didn't tell that story. The challenge? Creating a brand from scratch that could make advanced AI feel approachable and memorable, while capturing the intelligent, methodical nature of what their technology actually does.
How We Made It Happen
We developed a complete visual system with unexpected tones and colors, designed multiple facial expressions to show personality, and created a motion brand that brought the character to life. The centerpiece was creating their character—a thoughtful, methodical tiny fish that became the face of their technology. We explored different applications from signage to apparel, developed comprehensive brand guidelines, and introduced the concept of "the shoal"—because tiny fish are stronger together, just like their AI agents working in concert.
What We Achieved Together
We gave TinyFish a brand identity that makes complex AI technology feel human and approachable. The tiny fish character is instantly recognizable, and the complete visual system—from colors to motion to messaging—gave them everything needed to stand out in a crowded AI space. The timing couldn't have been better: after the brand launch, TinyFish raised $47 million in their seed round. The new brand is smart and distinctive as the tech they're building, turning what could be an illusive tech concept into something people actually want to engage with.
