This fundraiser is for our beloved friend, Bart Budwig! At the end of 2025, Bart suffered a life-threatening aortic dissection and had to be life-flighted for emergency medical care. Thankfully, his recovery has been going well and much of his treatment was covered by insurance. However, the severity of the emergency required him to step away from work for many months and rely on savings to get by.

Bart is not only an incredible musician, but a true pillar of our music community. He has recorded countless beautiful records for artists, ran live sound at venues and festivals, and has always shown up generously with his time, talent, and heart. He is a warm, once-in-a-lifetime kind of person. To meet Bart is to meet a rare gem. We're so grateful that he's still with us and making us smile with his wonderful heart, childlike spirit, and goofy sense of humor.

This fundraiser will ensure that Bart can continue to focus on healing with our community support to cover basic living expenses so he can recover without any additional stress.
