Can possibly fix with @T4rk1n suggestion:

Maybe we could change the IntegrationTests in this repo with the one in dash-core-components, it runs threaded instead when windows is detected.

Or perhaps this should be a part of a larger PR that creates an independent testing module for Dash, to be used in dash / all dash component libraries.

Made a package to run dash apps from pytest, can be used as an alternative to our unittest class.
