Disambiguation could use some improvement via refactoring. Generally, it is a boolean. However, pipestat is also using that value to set a string as either 'Sample' or 'Project' during the pipestat data object construction. When creating these strings, it may be better to always refer to them as level instead of project level and only use project_level when dealing with booleans to avoid confusion.
