Hi Panhans,
As discussed on the Home Assistant forum, I have all my time and temperature schedules set up on the dashboard using TimeSchedule. (This allows my whole family to change the time and temperature directly from the dashboard without going into the automation.)

Could you add a function so that, when using a TimeSchedule card, the automation checks every 15 minutes whether there is a new “Comfort Temp”?

As discussed, simulating a constant presence with a bit permanently set to 1 prevents the automation from checking whether a new comfort temperature value has changed.
That’s why it would be helpful to have an option allowing the automation to check this comfort value every 15 minutes.
