Subscription after copilot package

Hi everyone,

Currently I'm paying for github copliot, and my application recently got approved (i'd say 3 days ago). Once the education package comes around, will I continue paying for this subscription or will it automatically be transferred once I redeem the package?

EDIT: Figured out simply cancelling the subscription once my education benefits arrive will suffice.
