Further details on formulas implemented in `simulated_data()`

I've started using rbmi::simulated_data() and I find the documentation of the statistical details quite limited. There are some explanations in the Advanced Functionality vignette and also in the documentation for rbmi::simulated_data(). However, it would be great to have details on the specific formulas that are implemented.
