[Bug] Recently opened files are not listed in recent files

Issue description

A previously opened or created file will not be listed in recent files in the welcome window. (Tested on the dev branch)

Reproduction steps

1. Open or create a new file.
2. Close and reopen Monologue.
3. Previously opened or created file not listed in recent files.
