In meanwhile you can add @dev next to driver version so that this version is used by Composer.

Yes, or you can use dev-master and that's it, no more problems related to versions, but when you maintain an open source project, you cannot add a @dev anywhere, so you don't really know if they are not tagging because master is not stable enough, or because they don't have time for doing it.

In this particular case you can, because Mink driver dependency isn't (or at least I hope) a production dependency.

@scaytrase @aik099 I will never put a @dev in my project's composer file, even if dev... but yes, you could be less strict in dev dependencies.

Anyway, 10 days for February 2016 and some libraries are still not compatible with Symfony3.
