Going back to look at the PR, we're likely checking something we weren't checking before, so there may not be much to do here unless we decide that the check isn't worth the performance cost.

So the PR that is at fault is actually #36665, which allows us to de-dupe checkers in the editor scenario and probably run faster. We haven't merged the PR to do that yet, though.
