What buildtype exactly is -O0 and no debug info?

Intrinsically, the fastest-possible build is one that does zero optimizations and generates zero debug symbols / infos.

I already have release and debug build setups with meson covered, but I'd want to add this third mode on principle (no matter if in practice that saves seconds or just mere nanoseconds. =)

According to this, only plain might possibly be the only one for this need, but that (seemingly) skips absolutely all build flags that Meson would otherwise smartly set for me. So probably not exactly ideal as I like Meson adding those pesky flags for me!

Should one use release and then somehow override -O, or debug and then somehow add a no-debug-symbols-plz flag or other? Or is there actually a buildtype for this no-opt-no-dbg need after all?

OK having read further in the above-linked doc page 😁 I gather my need would be covered via -Dbuildtype=custom -Ddebug=false -D -Doptimization=0 .. is that correct & sufficient?

Update: apparently not:

ERROR: Unknown option: "-Doptimization".

On the other hand, as per docs optimizations defaults to 0 so for now that'll do, too.
