not clear how you get iso or name out of the locale object

Sometimes I need the locale iso and sometimes I need the translated name.

For example
{
en => "English"
fr => "French"
}

How do I get that out of {{locale}} (or {{locales}} for that matter) in the template?

Hi Jason ! That's a good feature to add. For now, you can only have the ISO of the locale. You could code your own liquid filter to convert an iso to a name, something like:
{{ 'fr' | translated_locale }} would return "French"
That was just an idea. The best solution would be to use the translation model in a way or another but I have to dig a little bit deeper to come with a nice solution.
