Bug description

I installed all updates in the update manager and from then on (including the recommended restart from updating) my computer freezes partway through booting. I used Timeshift to go back before the error and then systematically installed sets of updates until I found the one that caused the issue - Linux kernel update 6.17.0-19.19~24.04.2

Steps to reproduce

I installed said kernel update and the issue occurred. As I am not seeing others report it I assume it is not widespread. My laptop is a HP Victus 15 if that adds any context.

Expected behavior

I would expect my laptop to boot without issue.
