🐛 BUG: Error while creating my account

What went wrong? 🤔

I was creating an account with the username "samuelxdeason" but I was not receiving the email verification codes, so I ended up backtracking and just signing in with GitHub. This worked however I didn't get to use the username I wanted because even though I wasn't receiving the email verification it still created the account, I just couldn't log in.

Expected Behavior

It should've sent the email verification code, and not created the account until I was at least able to log into it.

Steps to Reproduce Issue

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See the error

Solution Proposed

Could you please delete the account with the username "samuelxdeason" so I can use that username, the it should be linked to the same email as my new account '[email protected]'
