Airbyte seems like a perfect solution for companies who have their datalakes in an air gapped environment that reaches out to external systems and EL(T)s the data into their private networks. However a lot of companies use proxies and resign requests with their own trusted certs, airbyte server, and all the singers would need to support being able to bake in a companies owned certificates into the images.
Describe the solution you’d like
Be able to upload you own certs to airbyte server (from the web ui) so that all the singers can pull in the certs and trust requests that get resigned!
Describe the alternative you’ve considered or used
I have considered rebuilding the docker images (as well as all the singer images) with my own certs, but this does not seem scalable at all.
Additional context
We get SSL certificate when attempting to run airbyte behind our corporate firewall. Not sure if you guys have a big switch to ignore ssl for simple dev purposes.
