XML Sitemap 500 Server Error: Plugin version 1.5.5.3

I'm now seeing a 500 internal server error in the latest release of the plugin. Looks different than the error reported by others in earlier versions (#1311 & #1355).

I just did a search on 'wp_deregister_script' and we don't use it anywhere in WPSEO, so while the error is shown on a WPSEO page, it is not caused by WPSEO, but most likely by a theme or other plugin.

Please switch to a WP default theme to see if the error still occurs. If not, it's your theme.

Thanks, @jrfnl I've tested several things including disabling all other plugins, changing themes, etc. The result is that I do not receive anymore errors via debug with backtrace. However the server 500 error persists.

I'm using MediaTemple Premium WP hosting. The performance is blazing fast due to layers of optimization and caching by default on the hosting end. I now suspect there's conflict on that end, but unfortunately the tradeoff for out of the box performance is limited visibility to diagnose issues. The bummer is that this was working before.

I'll try to plug away at this and report back if I can. Will need to work with MediaTemple support in real time. For now switched over to Google XML Sitemap, which is working well.

I don't directly on this setup, which means I'll have to coordinate real-time with their support. Something I can do, just not today unfortunately. If I learn anything will post back here.

I have a site on MediaTemple's Premium WP and am having the same problem. Let me know if you find anything that fixes this.

Unfortunately this will be near impossible to debug, as you can't get PHP logs from (mt)'s Premium WP hosting.

Checked after current release and issue has resolved. No known changes were made with hosting, but unfortunately I don't know for sure. Glad things are working now... wish I could report back specifics.
