What's wrong?

SR + AR:

1. Create an account at Wordpress.org.
2. Log in to the account.
3. Open the Before you begin page.
4. In the Accounts you'll need section, click WP account registration.
5. The https://login.wordpress.org/linkexpired/register-logged-in page opens and shows the following error (see the attached image).

ER:
The error isn't contradictory:

• showing link expired (not true)
• explaining to not create multiple accounts
• telling to log out and create another account.

Suggested fix

I'd expect either information that I'm already logged in, or an automatic redirect to the profile page.

Thanks for this @sambork ! I noticed the URL at the top already seems to recognize you are logged in: https://login.wordpress.org/linkexpired/register-logged-in

We can file an issue with the meta team, likely in Trac, but before I do that can you confirm you aren't having any other login issues?

I tested with my account I do see the same error, but I just want to be sure.

Yes, URL is changed, but the users usually don't pay attention to URLs, just the content.

I confirm that when not logged in, the link correctly opens the registration page.
