First time creating new file or opening file fails

# Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Monologue.
2. Click "New File" or "Open File"
3. Create a new file or select a file.

# Current Behavior
Nothing happens. It only works on the second time onwards.

# Expected Behavior
Should work the first time. This bug was not present in v2.1.1. Seems to be introduced by FileDialog implementation in v2.2.2.
