Summary
Three of the WordPress.org screenshots in .wordpress-org/ no longer match the plugin's UI as of 3.24.1. They were last updated on 2025-05-20, and the Editor Sidebar has changed since.
These images are used both on the WordPress.org plugin page and in the "Screenshots" section of README.md, so a retake covers both.
Outdated screenshots as of 3.24.1
screenshot-8.png — Excerpt Suggestions
The largest drift, as the panel was redesigned.
| In the screenshot |
Current UI |
TONE and PERSONA dropdowns inline in the panel |
Both moved into a Settings dropdown (the Excerpt Suggestions settings popover) |
| — |
New Desired length (characters) control in that popover |

Secondary Generate / Regenerate button with the AI icon, and no heading |
| "Learn more about Parse.ly AI" link |

Refs: src/content-helper/editor-sidebar/excerpt-suggestions/component-panel.tsx:253,446-530 and component-panel-settings.tsx:279-301.
screenshot-4.png — Title Suggestions
The "Learn more about Parse.ly AI" link now reads "Learn more about Title Suggestions".
Ref: src/content-helper/editor-sidebar/title-suggestions/component.tsx:240.
screenshot-5.png — Smart Linking
The same link now reads "Learn more about Smart Linking".
Ref: src/content-helper/editor-sidebar/smart-linking/component.tsx:687.
Check all ten when picking this up
All ten screenshots should be re-checked, not just the three above. The findings below are a snapshot taken against 3.24.1 on 2026-08-26. Anything that matches today can drift before this issue is picked up, so treat the list as a starting point rather than a scope boundary.
At the time of writing, screenshots 1, 2, 6, 7, and 9 were checked against the source and still matched. Notably, Recirculation in Performance Stats was still "Coming soon!" (src/content-helper/editor-sidebar/performance-stats/component-panel-overview.tsx:285).
Not verified
screenshot-3.png (Engagement Boost) requires live Parse.ly API data to reproduce, so it couldn't be checked. Worth a look during the retake, since the feature is now labeled "Engagement Boost (beta)" and has a dedicated dashboard page.
- The plugin's own Dashboard Page and Settings page have no screenshot at all (
screenshot-10.png is the Parse.ly web app). Better suited to a separate issue.
