Google may have improved the overall durability of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, but a familiar weakness has once again surfaced in the latest durability test. The foldable smartphone has been put through the usual scratch, flame, sand and bend tests by Zack from JerryRigEverything, and while it avoided the dramatic battery failure seen on last year's model, it still broke during the bend test.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is the fourth consecutive Google foldable to suffer a similar failure during the test. The device cracked along both antenna lines when subjected to bending pressure, suggesting that Google has still not completely addressed the structural weakness in this area.

The test begins with the usual scratch test. One of the notable improvements this year is the ceramic outer display covering, which holds up better than the glass used on many other smartphones. It reportedly shows little to no scratching at Level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, although deeper marks become visible at Level 7.
