Starting last year, I started noticing that my favorite site, Newgrounds, was acting up. Thinking about the blocking of YouTube, Discord, Twitter, Facebook, and other good social networks, I realized it was that damn Roskomnadzor.

Since June 9, 2025, when Roskomnadzor slowed Cloudflare traffic to a measly 16 KB, many websites protected by Cloudflare have suffered.

I fucking hate our government, because in literally two years, all of Russia has returned to the 90s, when the websites we were used to didn't really exist. In two years, Roskomnadzor has managed to screw everyone over in the internet sphere, and they're still doing it.

Once upon a time, all of Russia laughed at the idea of ​​Roskomnadzor being able to block the entire internet, but now it's not funny. Many VPN protocols were affected, like OpenVPN, WireGuard, and L2TP/IPSec, which DPI can now detect by the first packets and terminate the connection. The VLESS protocol was also affected, which DPI can detect by its characteristic behavior, although this protocol was considered invulnerable without additional masking like Reality or TLS.

A lot changed when our damn government started introducing temporary whitelists for mobile internet. You'd think I shouldn't care, since it doesn't apply to all regions, and I don't use mobile internet often. BUT! It recently became clear that the FSB will shut down the ENTIRE internet when "Russia is in danger."

FUCK! I'm so tired of all this, and I'm tired of waking up every day wondering if my internet is working, and if those idiots managed to get to the AmneziaWG + WARP combo.

I love this site so much, and I love this community so much. I really don't want to lose the opportunity to share my songs with my fans. Newgrounds is the place that allowed me to express myself and find meaning in music. And if one day I don't write a single post, comment on a song, or release a song, then that's the end.
