Hi ,  its challenge time at  Addicted to Stamps and More ! We have an easy one for you for this week - its CAS! Don't we all just love this! Although they are not always that simple to make.... I choose to do a one layer card and in celebration of Germany's world cup victory I decided to go with a soccer theme here..... Since I am German I naturally rooted for the German team - although I did not watch the game.... had better  more important things to do ;) The colors of the German flag are black, red and yellow - those ovals are actually my fingerprints - I did some generational stamping here. Back to school - how sad, the summer is over.... It will take some getting used to going back to the school routine. My son is a 7th grader now and my daughter will be going back to college on Tuesday.... The Twinery is setting the mood for that with their Back to the School Bus challenge. I made this card for it: The school bus I got from the internet and printed it onto yellow paper. I paper pieced the windows. the children in the bus i made with my fingerprints and doodles their hair and faces. The bus tires I made with twine and a brad in the center.  I popped the bus up with foam dots for dimension. Some Washi tape, a Hero Arts sentiment and a twine bow to finish it off. I really liked my first fingerprint card - and I have a  lot more ideas with that "technique" - here is card #2 . I used distress inks, the sentiment is from Hero Arts (Essential messages) and Penny Black (Party time). I needed a quick card for a kids birthday and while I was looking around in my stash I spotted this neglected stamp set from Inkadinkadoo in the corner of my shelf and the inspiration struck!  I inked up my thumb with distress inks and stamped those little faces onto my fingerprints - hurrah! That was one of the quickest cards I ever made...... I can't resist it - I'm gonna link it up with Simon Says  - something NEW, since I used a new stamp medium for me - my fingerprints!
