As cyber threats become more autonomous and data moves across increasingly complex environments, visibility is becoming the new security perimeter. Today, the challenge isn't simply securing infrastructure. It's understanding your data landscape: 🔹 Where sensitive data resides 🔹 Who has access to it 🔹 Which exposures create the greatest business risk As organizations accelerate cloud adoption and AI initiatives, data sprawl often grows faster than traditional security approaches can adapt. The result is reduced visibility, increased risk, and greater pressure to demonstrate effective governance. In this carousel, we explore why many organizations are embracing a more data-centric approach to security and how Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) helps strengthen visibility, prioritization, and control across complex environments. Discover how Atos Data-Centric DSPM Security differs from traditional security models and why understanding your data is becoming essential for building cyber resilience and digital trust. ▶ Download the infographic: https://lnkd.in/dDxAuKGp Guenter Koinegg Farah Rigal Zeina Zakhour Marc Llanes Gabriela Gorzycka David Bernard Aleksander Pawlicki Chee Wooi Tan Claudia Lasar Arancha Jiménez Martínez Amit Roy Agnès Brouillac-Combes Terry Bebbington Raul Sălăgean Barbara COUEE Piotr Goetzen Maciej Zarski #AtosCybersecurity #DSPM #DataSecurity #DataGovernance #CyberResilience #DigitalTrust #CloudSecurity

DC Broker and BoB: Investigating a Previously Undocumented AI-Assisted Phishing Ecosystem Read the full Threat Research Center (TRC) research here: https://lnkd.in/ddF33tmZ Microsoft 365 compromise continues to evolve beyond traditional credential theft. In its latest research, Atos TRC analyzed DC Broker and BoB, a previously undocumented phishing ecosystem designed to support identity compromise operations, from initial token acquisition and session abuse to mailbox intelligence gathering and downstream Business Email Compromise (BEC) activity. The investigation revealed an ecosystem that appears to extend beyond a conventional phishing kit. Analysis of the platform identified strong indicators of vibe-coded development, suggesting that artificial intelligence plays a significant role in accelerating the creation and evolution of the tooling itself. The research also examines Shikamaru, an integrated intelligence component that appears to support AI-assisted BEC operations by analysing compromised mailbox content, identifying valuable conversations, mapping business relationships and helping prioritise targets for follow-on exploitation. Taken together, these findings provide a view into how AI appears across multiple stages of the cybercrime lifecycle, not only in attack execution but also in tool development and operational decision support. The result is an ecosystem that resembles a mature software platform more than a traditional phishing toolkit. The full report provides a technical analysis of the ecosystem's architecture, operational workflows, detection opportunities and practical defensive recommendations for organisations seeking to protect Microsoft 365 identities from increasingly sophisticated identity-focused threats. #ThreatResearch #IdentitySecurity #ThreatIntelligence #BusinessEmailCompromise #AtosTRC Piotr Mazurkiewicz, Guenter Koinegg, Amit Roy , Farah Rigal Zeina Zakhour Marc Llanes Gabriela Gorzycka David Bernard Aleksander Pawlicki Chee Wooi Tan Claudia Lasar Arancha Jiménez Martínez Agnès Brouillac-Combes Terry Bebbington Noémie Vasche Stefanie Mehnert David Dewulf Mathieu (Matt) Roseau Raul Sălăgean Barbara COUEE Piotr Goetzen

How much visibility do organizations really have into their data? Many businesses believe they have their data under control, until an incident, audit, or regulatory inquiry exposes critical gaps in visibility and governance. As cloud adoption accelerates and AI increases the volume and movement of data, traditional security approaches can struggle to keep pace. The challenge is no longer simply protecting data. It's continuously understanding where it resides, who can access it, and how risk evolves over time. Our latest blog explores: ✅ Why data visibility breaks down at cloud scale ✅ How Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) helps organizations gain continuous insight into their data landscape ✅ What it takes to move from perceived control to evidence-based governance and stronger cyber resilience DSPM is becoming an important foundation for helping organizations strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and build digital trust in an increasingly complex data environment.
