165,825 steps. 1823 active minutes. Blisters, sweat, sharing stories, sharing silence and purpose.
One month ago, a group of Withings teammates laced up their shoes and committed to something bold: 🔥 Walking 100 kilometers nonstop as part of the Oxfam France Trailwalker
Every step taken was a step against poverty and inequality. And yes, when you embark on such a challenge, nothing is certain: the weather, the heavy legs, the aching feet, the mental fatigue…
And still, the motivation never faded, even as they pushed through pain, heat, rain, exhaustion and the added challenge of walking through the night by headlamp. Because each step meant more than distance it meant impact.

The mental challenge was immense but so was the support: 12 Withings teammates acted as mental anchors, encouraging and lifting spirits every step of the way and helping with logistics to keep everything running smoothly.
Team, support, positivity, and excitement. All played a crucial role in crossing that finish line. And thanks to every walker and supporter, over €550,000 was raised this year to help fight inequality worldwide. 🌍
At Withings, we talk a lot about health. But health is also about dignity, solidarity, and lifting others up.

We’re incredibly proud to support that mission on and off the trail.
To our walkers: thank you for carrying more than just a backpack. #Withings #LifeAtWithings

Can technology actually help us get a good night's sleep? 💤 That’s the core question we recently explored with the BBC at our Paris headquarters, a topic deeply rooted in everything we do at Withings. Today, #sleep seems to come with a playbook: the right bedtime, the ideal temperature, the exact target for deep sleep. What was once second nature has turned something we measure. But there’s a fine line between tracking your sleep and letting it rule your night. That is the exact balance we design for with every feature we build, from our Sleep Score to the science powering it. Technology should ease your mind at night, not give you more to worry about. A big thank you to the BBC for diving into such a critical conversation and highlighting the tools shaping a healthier future.

New peer-reviewed research, published in Mayo Clinic Proceedings: Digital Health and led by the Withings research team alongside Inria and Sorbonne Université, finds that muscle-to-fat ratio at the start of treatment is the strongest predictor of both how much weight is lost on GLP-1 therapy and whether it comes from fat or muscle. For the millions of people on GLP-1 medications, that distinction has largely been an educated guess, and a major source of anxiety. The core fear: Are these drugs taking muscle right along with the fat? Here is what 396 GLP-1 users tracked over a full year revealed: • A median 9.8% drop in body weight, with muscle accounting for 21.6% of that loss—right in line with traditional calorie-restricted diets. The most insightful finding wasn't the average. It was what predicted the exceptions. Out of every variable studied, including age, gender, and BMI, one factor stood out: a person's muscle-to-fat ratio before starting treatment. • A higher starting fat ratio meant people tended to shed more fat and retain more muscle. • Starting leaner meant more of what came off was muscle. 🗣️ As Agathe CHABASSIER RWE Data Scientist at Withings and the study's lead author, put it: "Your body composition before you start helps flag who's most at risk, and tracking it during treatment can catch an unhealthy loss early." 🏥 Withings has officially launched a Medical Group 🏥 And we are already taking care of our first patients. Reflecting on my 11 years at Withings, this milestone feels incredibly special. Seeing our long-time device users choose to trust us with their clinical care is deeply humbling, and it feels like the missing piece. The real catalyst was the US government's new CMS ACCESS model, which rewards organizations like Withings for improving health outcomes for patients with chronic conditions, all at $0 out-of-pocket costs for the patients. It is an approach we hope will also inspire the French government, as it has the immense potential to both improve care and reduce systemic costs. While our vision heavily leverages Withings' latest hardware, biomarkers and AI behind the scenes, we are keeping our care team and the patient firmly at the center. Empowered by technology, our clinicians use continuous, hospital-grade data from our devices, alongside coordinated labs, personalized prescriptions, virtual visits, and tailored educational content to catch health issues early. To power this seamlessly, our new infrastructure integrates a modern EMR, coupled with Withings Remote Monitoring platform and a modern AI stack. By vastly reducing administrative friction, we maximize our care team's efficiency so they can focus entirely on medicine, while creating an effortless experience for patients. Let's continue this journey together Younes Brini, François Force, Patrick Sheehan, Nisha Basu, Mikela Yarawamai, MD cc Eric Carreel To learn more about this new initiative: https://lnkd.in/e5FkDuVu

🇫🇷📈 We're proud to share that Withings reached full-year profitability in 2025, closing an eight-year chapter, eighteen years after our founding. Since buying back the company from Nokia in 2018, we’ve grown global revenue by ~90%, with the United States now standing as our #1 market worldwide. What makes this milestone unique? It’s the rare combination of scale, clinical credibility, and profitability in connected health: • Scale & clinical validation: 66% of total 2025 revenue came from FDA-cleared medical devices. • Engagement & data footprint: Across 10 million active devices worldwide, we recorded over 1 billion health measurements in 2025 (more than a third of them clinical grade). • B2B velocity: Withings Health Solutions has scaled patient enrollment in remote monitoring from 25,500 before the buyback to more than 740,000 today across the U.S. and Europe. This reflects a conviction we've held from day one: that connected health would eventually shift from consumer gadgetry to true clinical-grade prevention. Achieving this required deep, disciplined reinvestment. We've funneled 20% to 27% of annual revenue into R&D every single year since the buyback—close to double the consumer electronics norm. That commitment produced a record 31 clinical studies in 2025 alone and 150 published clinical articles to date. 🗣 "Longevity, prevention, and at-home monitoring have moved from niche to mainstream, and Withings has been building for this exact moment for eighteen years." — Eric Carreel, Chairman & Co-founder As a company built in France, reaching this milestone with the U.S. as our largest market means everything. And we're just getting started. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eWEDC55X

Diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) still relies primarily on a single night of testing, despite the condition affecting an estimated one billion adults worldwide. New peer-reviewed research led by Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute Sleep Health, found that multi-night monitoring with Sleep Analyzer achieved 86% sensitivity and 90% specificity for detecting moderate-to-severe OSA compared with in-home polysomnography. In 10 of 45 participants diagnosed with moderate-to-severe OSA, multi-night monitoring surfaced additional information that may have changed the clinical diagnosis. Participants also recorded a median of 80 nights of monitoring across three months. Lead author Dr. Bastien Lechat said the findings highlight an important limitation of current diagnostic approaches. "Sleep apnea can vary considerably from one night to the next, so if you only measure it once, you may not capture the true severity of the condition."
