#Utopias2 #Territories #Impact SWEN Capital Partners, Ofi Invest, Aéma Groupe, Ofi Invest Real Estate, Fieldfisher France

  • We were delighted to contribute to the 2026 Grands Prix de l'Académie des technologies, dedicated this year to marine ecosystems and maritime innovation, with Prisca Jauffrineau serving as a jury member throughout the entire selection process and taking part in the awards ceremony roundtable on "Innovations et partenariats pour un océan durable."   The discussion highlighted the tremendous potential of research, innovation and partnerships to address ocean challenges, while also emphasizing the importance of pairing innovation with a clear impact framework—one that enables solutions to scale in a thoughtful, structured and purposeful way.   As investors focused on ocean biodiversity, it was inspiring to discover such a strong group of entrepreneurs tackling some of the most pressing challenges facing our oceans and maritime industries. From ocean observation and marine data to maritime decarbonization, the diversity and quality of the projects showcased the momentum of the ocean innovation ecosystem.   Congratulations to all six finalists: 🌊 cosma, Greenov and OCEANO VOXADV Propulse, FARWIND ENERGY and OpenHull And a special congratulations to this year's winners, cosma and FARWIND ENERGY ! 👏   Thank you to the Académie des technologies, the Académie de marine and all the partners involved for bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders around the shared ambition of building a more sustainable ocean economy.   #SWENBlueOcean #BlueEconomy #OceanInnovation #OceanTech #Maritime #Biodiversity #ImpactInvesting #ClimateTech

#Utopias2 #Territories #Impact SWEN Capital Partners, Ofi Invest, Aéma Groupe, Ofi Invest Real Estate, Fieldfisher France

  • 🌊SWEN Blue Ocean invests in Syntetica, a pioneer in complex textile recycling We're delighted to announce our participation in Syntetica's 30M USD fundraising round, alongside Bpifrance (lead investor), lululemon, EQT Ventures, and the Peugeot family office. 🔬 Syntetica has developed a unique selective depolymerization technology, capable of recycling Nylon 6 and Nylon 6.6 from mixed textile waste streams — while preserving other fibers (cotton, polyester). This creates a major breakthrough, as separating these two types of nylon from mixed textiles has been one of the main obstacles to textile recycling at scale. 🌍 Why it matters: the textile industry releases around 8 million tonnes of plastic waste into the environment every year through synthetic fibers, directly contributing to ocean pollution and the spread of microfibers in marine ecosystems. 🏭 The funds raised will finance the construction of Syntetica's first commercial demonstration plant, in partnership with Michelin's Sustainable Materials Center in Clermont-Ferrand. This investment reflects SWEN Blue Ocean's mission to reduce negative impacts on our oceans and support the regeneration of marine biodiversity. Congratulations to the entire Syntetica team on this key milestone! We remain committed to advancing innovation as a driver of ocean regeneration and are delighted to share this report with you.

  • 🌱 Regenerative agriculture has proven its value. The real challenge today is scaling it up.   “We are absolutely convinced that the model which has been used in the renewable energy sector can also work in agriculture.” — Emmanuel Simon, Managing Director, SWEN Terra strategy   Healthier soils, enhanced biodiversity, greater resilience to climate-related challenges and reduced reliance on external inputs: the benefits of regenerative agriculture are now widely recognized.   The question is no longer whether regenerative agriculture works, but rather how to finance and scale the transition effectively. Across Europe, investors are exploring different models - from debt financing and public guarantees to equity strategies and carbon-related mechanisms - to support farmers and agricultural operators over the long term.   In an article published by Agri Investor, Emmanuel shares his perspective on the specific challenges facing the European market, where farms are often smaller and more fragmented than in other regions of the world.   As the sector continues to mature, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: financial innovation will be just as important as agronomic innovation in enabling regenerative agriculture to achieve the scale required to deliver meaningful and lasting impact.

📄 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗻, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲? More than two years have passed since SWEN Capital Partners became a #SociétéàMission (a status created under French law for companies that formally commit to social and environmental objectives alongside their economic activity). We are often asked: what does this Mission really change? The answer is both simple and difficult to put into words. In one sense, it changes nothing: our commitment to more #ResponsibleFinance did not begin with the Mission. But in reality, it changes everything. Because becoming a mission-led company means committing to an explicit purpose, one that durably engages our strategy, our decisions and our governance.   A Mission does not provide all the answers. But it forces us to ask the right questions! In a world marked by growing geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty, and at times a retreat in environmental ambition, it can be tempting to adjust one's commitments according to the cycle. Our Mission, on the contrary, acts as an anchor.   This year an independent audit (Aupeam) confirmed SWEN Capital Partners meets the social and environmental objectives of its Mission, dedicating substantial resources to pursue it.   𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳: 🌱 Structured our Sustainable Value Creation approach, thanks to the contribution of all our teams 🌾 Launched SWEN Terra, supporting farmers' transition to regenerative practices 🤝 Created SWEN Philanthropy, our endowment fund, dedicated to supporting projects that do not find their place within traditional investment frameworks 💡 Raised awareness on soil regeneration through Utopias by SWEN   𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: Bruno David (Naturalist, former President of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle) and Camille Maclet (International Advisory Panel on Biodiversity Credits).   🙏 Thank you to our teams, to the members of our Mission Committee, to our shareholder (Ofi Invest, Aéma Groupe) and to all our investors, clients and partners who help bring this collective ambition to life: “putting investment at the service of Nature”.   Discover the full 2025 Mission Report 👉 links in French and English in the comments   #MissionLedCompany #ResponsibleFinance #ImpactInvesting #InvestingForNature Olivia Blanchard, François Miquet-Marty, Christian de Perthuis, Luisa Florez, Edouard Boukari, Natalia Rey Vidal, Jean-Pierre Grimaud, Jérome Delmas, Jean-Philippe Richaud, Giulia Lecarrié, Marie Fraissinet The SWEN Terra Fund is reserved for professional investors and involves, among others, a risk of capital loss and a liquidity risk.
