81% of financial services firms surveyed by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance for its 2026 Global AI in Financial Services Report are adopting AI at some level, yet only 14% see AI as transformational to their organisational strategy and competitive advantage, a gap the report describes as one of execution and business integration. This is exactly where Scalian's experience industrialising data and AI inside regulated financial institutions makes the difference: ✔️ Big Data Platforms & Data Lake Architecture: designing, building and industrialising Big Data platforms and data lakes, unifying fragmented architectures into a reliable, scalable foundation for AI driven decision making across the enterprise ✔️ AI Powered Applications & Intelligent Automation: predictive models, recommendation engines, fraud detection and intelligent process automation that improve customer experience and operational efficiency ✔️ Master Data Management & Information Architecture: data modelling, master data governance and information architecture that eliminate information silos in complex financial group environments ✔️ Agile Transformation & Digital Organisation: methodology design through to large scale deployment and change adoption, bridging strategic ambition and operational reality without loosening governance and delivery discipline ✔️ Mobile & Digital Product Engineering: UX design, mobile development, API integration and application lifecycle management for increasingly demanding financial services customers Curious how this plays out in our projects? 📊 Figure of the month 97% of project professionals managed at least one complex project over the past year, with more than half classifying them as significantly complex. That is what Project Management Institute found in its Pulse of the Profession 2026 report, and the numbers reflect a structural shift in how industrial organizations operate today. Technological change, expanding stakeholder networks and regulatory pressure are making projects more interconnected and less predictable. 31% of complex projects fail to deliver their originally intended benefits. Teams that manage complexity effectively are five times more likely to achieve their project goals. At Scalian, our PMO Center of Excellence has been securing the execution of complex programs and projects for over 35 years: • Structuring and steering projects across multidisciplinary, multi-site teams in Europe and North America • Deploying risk-driven management practices adapted to industrial environments, from V-cycle to scaled agility and hybrid approaches • Augmenting PMO performance through AI-based technologies: automatic schedule generation, data enrichment, and real-time multi-scenario planning • Supporting major programs in aerospace, defense and energy To learn more about our Program and Project Delivery expertise: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eFfae9ns See you next month for a new key figure.

World military spending reached USD 2.718 trillion in 2024, the steepest year on year rise since the end of the Cold War, according to SIPRI data cited in StartUs Insights' Defense Industry Report. Yet the report expects 2026 to be shaped less by record budgets than by execution: certified production capacity, interoperable systems integration and secure software delivery, fast enough to keep pace with evolving threats. This is exactly where Scalian's decades of mission critical experience make the difference: ✔️ Systems Engineering & IVVQ for Defence Platforms: full integration, verification, validation and qualification across naval, land and air platforms, in simulated, dockside and operational environments ✔️ Embedded Software for Critical Platforms: real time systems for combat management, avionics, naval and land applications, certified against military standards ✔️ Simulation & Digital Training Environments: high fidelity simulation tools and AI powered scenarios for defence validation and training ✔️ Autonomous Systems & Intelligent Drone Swarms: our METIS solution for AI driven swarm management and multi vector mission coordination across air, land and maritime environments ✔️ AI Enhanced Decision Support & Combat Simulation: recurrent neural networks for combat simulation and our ATR/ADT SAR capability for radar detection algorithm training ✔️ Program Efficiency & Defence Transformation: governance and delivery support securing cost, schedule and quality across complex, multi stakeholder programs Curious how this plays out in our projects? The aerospace sector's order backlog is now equivalent to more than ten years of production at current rates, but according to PwC, record demand won't be enough on its own: execution will make the difference in 2026, particularly the ability to secure supply chains, certify increasingly complex systems faster and meet growing sovereignty requirements, which is why nearly half of A&D executives plan to reshore or nearshore most of their production by 2030. This is exactly where Scalian's 35 years of expertise make the difference: ✔️ Next Generation Aircraft Design & Certification: DO 178C, DO 254 and DAL A software certification across the full lifecycle ✔️ Mission Critical Software & Embedded Systems: real time OS design and safety critical embedded software for the most constrained environments ✔️ Supply Chain & Manufacturing Performance: supplier development and industrial transfer management, benchmarked through our AeroExcellence™ framework ✔️ Program Efficiency & Industrial Transformation: change management and Logistics 4.0 transformation for tier one suppliers and primes ✔️ Digital Continuity & Intelligent Operations: AI powered anomaly detection and simulation platforms to accelerate validation cycles ✔️ Space Systems & Ground Segment Engineering: embedded software, ground segment QA and cybersecurity for sovereign space infrastructure Curious how this plays out in our projects? 🦮 A morning like no other at our Toulouse office Last Wednesday, our Toulouse teams welcomed Bounty, a young guide dog in training, for the morning. Bounty was brought on site by Valérie Peton, a Scalian colleague based in Toulouse, who volunteers as a relief host family for the association Chiens Guides d'Aveugles du Sud Ouest. This role means stepping in to look after guide dogs whenever their usual host family needs a break or is away, which was the case for Bounty that day. Guide dogs spend their first 18 months with host families, learning the skills they will need before being evaluated on their ability to accompany a person with visual impairment. Spending time in varied environments, including workplaces like ours, plays a key part in this journey: dogs get used to new faces and places, learn to stay calm in all situations, and this ultimately means a more reliable companion for their future owner. Watching Bounty explore our offices under the attentive eye of its trainer gave our teams a much better understanding of the role these dogs play and the daily realities linked to visual impairment. A big thank you to Valérie for making this moment possible, and to the whole Toulouse agency for the warm welcome given to Bounty. If you would like to learn more about the association, or even become a host or relief family yourself, you can find all the details here: https://lnkd.in/eKJXD_e2

🏃♀️🏃♂️ On Friday, July 3rd, Team Scalian once again brought energy to La Corrida Pédestre de Toulouse! For this 25th anniversary edition of the Corrida, nearly 70 Toulouse-based employees had signed up to take on the streets of the Pink City over 3 km or 10 km courses, in a festive and community-driven atmosphere. For the fourth year in a row, we took on this collective challenge in support of associations dedicated to early childhood. Thank you to all the participants for their commitment and see you next year for new challenges!

#IA #PMO #ProjectManagement #ContractManagement #Leadership Scalian
