An interesting article from Le Figaroro highlighting the rapid evolution of the satellite connectivity market, and how we at Eutelsat are responding. Competition is increasing. So is the importance of trust, resilience and sovereignty. Customers increasingly want more than just high-speed capacity – that is now simply an expectation. Businesses want long-term partners, predictable service models and infrastructure they can rely on for mission-critical operations. Building on our OneWeb LEO today and IRIS² tomorrow, Eutelsat is focused on delivering exactly that: secure, resilient and sovereign connectivity for governments, enterprises and mobility customers. Thank you to Véronique G. and Le Figaro for the coverage. https://lnkd.in/eVCCS7zg

First cellular backhaul demonstration in Central African Republic over Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO and AMOS-Spacecom GEO satellites 🌍 Spacecom has successfully completed the first multi-orbit cellular backhaul trial in Africa using LEO connectivity, demonstrating how GEO and LEO satellite services can work together to support the next generation of mobile networks. The trial explored how mobile network operators can combine GEO and LEO connectivity to support different generations of mobile services. During the trial, 2G and 3G services were supported via GEO capacity, while 4G services were carried over our OneWeb LEO constellation. The successful demonstration highlighted the potential for hybrid satellite architectures to help operators extend reliable mobile coverage into remote and underserved areas, bringing high-speed connectivity to communities and businesses beyond the reach of traditional infrastructure including in the Central African Republic, where Spacecom has a strong and established track record. As demand for mobile connectivity continues to grow across Africa, satellite-enabled cellular backhaul can play an increasingly important role in expanding coverage, improving resilience and supporting digital inclusion, in which Eutelsat LEO plays a vital function.

When a huge THANK YOU is in order 💙 On Friday, we closed FY26 at Eutelsat and what a year it has been with LEO connectivity growth as a main highlight: LEO revenue growth: 69.5% LEO revenue: €297M 25% of total Eutelsat revenue These are more than impressive numbers. They are a clear signal that resilient, sovereign connectivity is becoming strategic infrastructure. Across Aviation, Maritime and Government, we are seeing a fundamental shift. Customers increasingly need connectivity that can perform, adapt and stay connected when it matters most. That is the power of combining our LEO and GEO capabilities into multi-orbit solutions, bringing performance and resilience together to address some of the most demanding connectivity needs. But numbers like these are never delivered by one team, one technology or one part of an organisation. They are delivered by people working together — across the entire organisation, with our partners and customers, every single day. So today, I want to say a very big THANK YOU to my team, our partners, my colleagues across ExCom and everyone at Eutelsat who contributed to this fantastic FY26 result. Proud of what we achieved. Grateful for the people who made it happen. Excited about what comes next. FY27 we are coming for you 🚀 We will continue to stand behind the importance of #European sovereignty, resilient infrastructure and satellite connectivity, and the role we can play in making that a reality. But first: time for a summer break ☀️ Recharge. Enjoy! Spend time with the people who matter. Then… upward and onward. #Eutelsat #SatelliteConnectivity #LEO #GEO #Connectivity #EuropeanSovereignty #Resilience #CriticalInfrastructure #Aviation #Maritime #Government #Space #FY26 #FY27 Filipe de Oliveira Natale Lettieri Alessandro Cardoso Karen Pugliese Ghassan MURAT, MBA MEng Neha Idnani Steve Mills Ian Canning Pascal Fallet Siham ABARKAN Angéline Duval Jean-François Fallacher Sebastien Rouge Fabio Mando Asanga Wedisinghe Frederic Piro Anne Carron Mariam Kaynia Joanna Darlington Lenotte Jean-Hubert Aymeric Genty

How is #data and #AI helping us operate a "network from the sky"?   This is at the heart of my recent conversation with Danielle Rios on "Telco in 20", where we discussed how we are applying and productizing AI across Eutelsat, from engineering support for our satellites and ground segment to operational optimisation and improving how we support and serve our customers.   As we scale these capabilities, trusted data, training of models, strong governance, security and clear ownership of outcomes remain essential to ensuring AI delivers real value. It is an exciting time to be at Eutelsat as we continue to advance our use of AI, innovate for our customers and help shape the future of connectivity.   Listen to the full "Eutelsat's AI in the Sky" episode here ⤵️ https://lnkd.in/eDUk4d4j
